Welcome to the Frozen Pride Classic 2025!

Our newest event brings pride hockey to the pond, set in wintery Winthrop, Washington. Join us for a friendly weekend of outdoor hockey as 12 teams come together in a reimagined relaxed style of play. No pressure, no championship – this is an opportunity to hit the ice in the elements, and have fun while skating at one of the most unique outdoor rinks in North America.

• Teams: We're targeting 12 teams for this event. Register your team with a small $150 fully refundable deposit from Monday, September 16 through Friday, October 4. Seattle Pride Hockey Association will review and admit teams that we feel will have the most cohesive competition throughout the weekend. Admitted teams will be announced by Friday, October 11. We apologize in advance if there are teams that are not admitted. Please try again in 2026.
  
• Free Agents: Don't have a team? Don't fret! We're offering a [free] Free Agent registration option to backfill potential vacancies on teams. The cost for admittance onto a team will likely vary anywhere from $175 - $200 - depending upon the total number of rostered players on that team.
  
• Divisions: We expect to split the 12 teams into three (3) divisions, if possible, depending upon the composition of the teams that register. This is subject to analysis and review by Seattle Pride Hockey Association and how we best feel teams will compete throughout the weekend.
  
• Format: All teams will have a total of four (4) games during the weekend. Keep in mind that team-based tournaments offer a wide variety of skill. However, unlike these tournaments, this reimagined event will have no championships, no standings, and nothing but fun. Join us for a weekend on the pond.
